Focus of position: Ensure successful completion of all client projects within your department; provide expertise on Irish taxation to clients and others in the firm; actively contribute in a managerial role to practice systems, policies and procedures in order to fulfill the objectives of the practice: full legal and fiscal compliance, meeting of all deadlines and targets and a consistently high level of customer and staff satisfaction.
Whilst the position is based in Clonakilty, our ideal candidate will be able to spend some time in our Cork and Dublin offices.
This position is a an opportunity for a senior accountant to move into a managerial position and has potential for future advancement for someone who shows skill and willingness to assist with the continuous growth of the practice.
Requirements:
- Accountancy Qualification with at least 5 years current Irish experience with a focus on Taxation
- AITI Qualification
Any candidate for this position must demonstrate a high level of experience, expertise and enthusiasm in the following areas:
- VAT, Payroll and other tax matters including Revenue enquiries and audits
- Accounts Preparation
- technical ability
- accounts and audit software
- proficiency with CCH Accounts Production (Viztopia) desired
- ROS online/offline
- Google Drive and other cloud applications
- accounts and audit software
